The writing here is informed by many different kinds of organizing around many different issues, and in particular my past six years of union organizing as a rank-and-file education worker. Most of the ideas on firewithfire.blog have emerged collaboratively from the collective experience and wisdom of the community of unionists who I organize closely with.
